I’m looking forward to seeing AN TAILLIUR back out at Haydock on Saturday. This horse looked hugely progressive before bumping into Marie’s Rock at Kempton and given that mare has gone on to win well at the Cheltenham Festival that form has been strongly franked anyhow. She has been freshened up since and is back on better ground which I think is important to her. This handicap mark should still be within reach and I can see her running a big race here. Plenty of dangers which are likely headed by The Macon Lugnatic who ran well reverted to hurdles at Doncaster and he should be staying on well again in the blinkers. Go Chique won at Hereford last time but is 4lb higher here in a deeper race so will need more. Kaizer has won 2 of his last 3 so also has to enter calculations but again this will definitely demand more from him.
