The well bred CONSERVATIVE can make a winning handicap debut at Wolverhampton on Easter Monday. This son of Churchill showed a good attitude to make the breakthrough at Southwell last month, knuckling down well to get back on top close home. The form has already been franked with the fourth Ermin Street and even the eighth Moonlit Warrior both winning next time out. The horse that finished last Aryaah shaped with considerable promise when third at Windsor too so I think there is lots to like. He should improve both physically and mentally and I’ll be surprised if he isn’t a fair bit better than a mark of 78. Maritime Rules represents Hannon and improved to win impressively at Chelmsford last time. He is another one with more to offer so looks the danger. Washraa is a filly with potential so she also deserves a second look.

Having shown bits and pieces of ability as a 2yo it was no surprise to see the money down for MOUNT KOSCIUSZKO on handicap debut at Kempton last month. The gamble did go astray on that occasion but I think it might only be money borrowed by the bookies as he showed enough to me pulling clear from the rest with the winner to suggest he can take this out. He still looked a bit inexperienced and I think that outing would have done him the world of good. The winner Dynamic Talent looks a promising horse for Darryll Holland so the form should work out nicely in time. He has only been nudged up 2lb and I think this represents a great opportunity to go one better. Time To Rumble is by Night Of Thunder and should have more to come in handicap company with Richard Fahey picking up form. Come On John is also respected.
