GYTO's Tuesday notebook double pays 9/1.
16:10 Yarmouth
The money is already coming for FRANKLIN WILLIAM at Yarmouth on Tuesday so he could turn into one of the gambles of the day. He showed very little on his first two starts but definitely took a big step forward when finishing close-up in fourth at Southwell last time. That was a stop-start gallop and he had to come from behind so it was never going to be ideal. The form has already been given a handsome compliment with the second Crenelle winning in the style of a very promising filly at Newmarket next time out. He should improve again now tackling handicap company and I think he’s set for a big run under Cieren Fallon. At Liberty shaped well last time and might be one of the dangers. Sylvia Beach is unexposed and she should have more to come so is also expected to get involved.
18:35 Wolverhampton
Despite being slowly away and hugely overlooked in the market LADY LEBELLE finished strongly to make a winning debut at 66/1 at Chelmsford. Plenty went wrong on that occasion and she still won so I think that’s the sign of a promising filly. She is sure to progress from that and will be a lot more streetwise now. She will relish this extra yardage and looks worth following in to make it a perfect 2-2. Golden Glance is obviously a very interesting newcomer being by Golden Horn and I wouldn’t want to see the market support overly strong for her as she does look the part on paper. Stay Alert should come on for her debut fourth but she will need to if she is to trouble the selection. Likely be better with more time and experience. Zestful is another one for further down the line.
