With Secret Shadow and True Courage now out this race has cut up a bit. Kings Prince has to be respected off the back of that short head defeat on return. He will improve so he is the right favourite but there is no juice in his price. Parachute did look quite an attractive each-way play but his odds have come in now with the non-runners and he does still have a bit to prove off the back of that latest effort. I’ve decided to take a chance on GOING GONE now for Jim Boyle. I’ve had a message through this morning saying he is fit and ready to go and the market has largely overlooked him given he has won 2 of his last 3. He was impressive at Newmarket on his final start as a three-year-old and he also has winning form over track and trip so he ticks plenty of boxes. He is up a further 7lb but you’d be foolish to think there isn’t more to come so he gets the vote now.
