Roxzoff landed back-to-back wins before going down less than a length at Newcastle last month so he will likely be popular here but I do think he might be worth opposing. AUTUMN FESTIVAL (best price 11/4) has also looked progressive in recent starts making a winning return at Redcar at the start of the month and then bumping into a promising filly in Do I Dream at Pontefract last time. The pair were clear from the third so the form looks solid. She is up 2lb but looks to have plenty going for her again and I’ll be surprised if she is beaten. Bar the front pair Golden Sands is also worth another look as he also won a couple of races before losing little in defeat when fourth at Lingfield. Back on turf he is also in the mix but I still think the selection will have them covered. The Smull makes his debut for Karl Burke and would only be of interest if heavily backed.

Twilight Son filly UNDER THE TWILIGHT (best price 5/2) looked a lovely prospect improving to win over C&D on just her second start. She was beaten under a penalty at Kempton but only went down a couple of lengths and she looks the type to do better as a 4yo now. She goes handicapping off a mark of 74 and should go really well under Hollie Doyle. It will be interesting to see what tactics they adopt as there isn’t much pace on. She could go forward and try to make all. Light Up Our Stars is the danger as he cashed in off a reduced mark to win over C&D and is only up 4lb from that. Brunel Charm was a good second at Lingfield on return and will be fitter now from an inside draw so also has to enter calculations. Last Date has won over track and trip in the past and was a good second last time but all need more to cope with the selection.
