After a 13/8 winner yesterday, Steve Ryder is back with two tips for today's racing at Wetherby.
14:20 Wetherby
The Michael Dods trained Lady Lou (best priced at 7/1) has shown consistent form so far in 2022 and she is expected to run well here if coping to this switch to turf. The three-year-old showed very little on her first three starts on turf before improving since going handicapping on the AW this year. She outran odds of 80/1 to win at Southwell off a mark of 57 before finishing a neck 2nd over the same course and distance off a 1lb higher mark.
Lady Lou ran well last month at Newcastle in a handicap off a mark of 59 when only beaten ¾ length and she should hold strong claims off the same mark in this race with up to five places available if coping with this return to turf.

The Nigel Tinkler trained Singe Anglais (best priced at 11/2) ended last season in good form with victories at Carlisle and Ripon and he should resume his progress back on better ground. The five-year-old won twice last season off marks of 60 and 63 before struggling on his final start on the AW at Newcastle.
Singe Anglais returned this season with a below par reappearance run at Thirsk but that was on soft ground and that means he runs here off a mark of 64. 7lb claimer Alex Jary is once again on board and he should run well.
