MOONEISTA (NAP) made a more than pleasing start to her campaign when a creditable runner-up to the improving Power Under Me at Cork 22 days ago and with Jack Davidson’s filly sure to be all the better for that initial outing, she makes loads of appeal in his bid to win this race for the second year in succession. 

A smart juvenile, the daughter of Dandy Man really came of age as a three-year-old, however, managing to finish a creditable sixth in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup at Ascot in June before posting a career high at Group 2 level at the Curragh next time. Off the track for 203-days prior to shipping up at the Mallow venue last time, the four-year-old filly was allowed to go off 10-1 to make a winning start to her campaign and for nine tenths of the six-furlong journey, she looked likely to defy her position in the market. A length clear over a furlong out, the combination of the very strong early pace over a trip that probably just stretches her stamina to the limit took its toll in the dying strides and she was eventually reeled back in by a horse who connections believe will be dining at the very top table this season. Back over her option distance over a course where her form figures read 313, Mooneista should prove incredibly difficult to beat with all the stars aligning in her favour. 

George Gamble's Selection for Crystal Palace vs Leeds

Leeds United’s matches have been entertaining this season, particularly on the road. There have been at least three goals scored in 11 of their 16 away matches and just five points currently separate the ‘Whites’ from the relegation zone. Every match from hereon is vital and they need to continue picking up points to move further towards safety.

Jesse Marsch has overseen his side's current four-match unbeaten run and he’ll be keen for his men to continue their free-scoring form on the road as across their last two away games, they’ve hit the back of the net an impressive six times.

On the flip side, Patrick Vieira has seen his men lose their last three matches away from home and so a return to home soil will be welcomed. The hosts are unbeaten in their last five matches at Selhurst Park and have scored seven times across their last two home games. A win either way could essentially guarantee safety but it’s a tough call as to which way this match will go. I think there will be goals and I’ll have a couple of points on at least three goals being scored.
