Lope De Vega filly AIMING HIGH (best price 15/8) looks worth siding with at Yarmouth on Tuesday. I thought she shaped really well over this trip on debut as a 2yo at Newmarket last year and she was just too keen in soft ground over a mile at Newbury on final start. She would have strengthened up since and with further improvement to come she could be a nice prospect in time. She will need to settle but I think she remains a filly with plenty of potential. Shining Al Danah showed encouragement on debut when fifth at Newmarket and if stepping forward from that should give the selection most to think about. Bated Breath filly Autumn is the most interesting of the debutants but she should do better for the experience. My Mirage makes her debut for Alice Haynes and she looks to have a future as well but might need more time.

Starspangledbanner colt IUR CINN TRA (best price 7/4) clocked a career best winning at Chelmsford on final start as a 2yo and looks ahead of the handicapper returning here off a 4lb higher mark. He is obviously still open to further improvement despite having a busy campaign last year and if fit and ready to roll could take a bit of stopping here. He looked happy under positive tactics last time so it will be interesting to see if Tudhope sends him forward again here back down to the minimum trip. He clearly doesn’t lack speed so might always be dominating in this smaller field. Caravaggio filly Tilly The Filly is my idea of the danger as she was probably better than the bare result at Catterick and so should make a race of it. Smiling Sunflower remains with potential but definitely needs to show more but this trainer is certainly capable of readying one.
