I thought expensive purchase BREAKING LIGHT (best price 3/1) would be fav for this off the back of that promising second on debut over C&D on sole start as a 2yo. She went down less than a length at the line and just looked a bit clueless when asked to try and settle the race in front and was gathered in late. She is likely to have improved plenty since given how well bred she is and I think she looks the obvious value at 3/1 at the time of writing. Smiling Jayne showed ability on debut and can put that last run behind her in time. Espressoo will have more to come up in trip and also looks one of the dangers. Brazilian Beach didn’t look to react too well to the first-time cheekpieces and is one to note as well but she should do better with this under her belt. Matti makes her debut but this is a tough enough ask first-up so best watched unless the market speaks massively for her.
