Crenelle has to be respected given the way she won last month but the market has found her and I think PERIPATETIC has been largely overlooked. This filly by Ulysses went down just a neck on debut over a mile here and that was a huge effort as she was slowly into stride and she ran green when asked to try and challenge. She finished strongly but could never get to the winner Mellow Yellow who looks another nice filly. She improved to win going away at Newcastle and I was taken with how strongly she travelled through that race. She is likely to have improved again and on breeding will relish these extra two furlongs here. She is around 5/1 at the time of writing and I can’t see how she isn’t going to go close under David Egan. Crenelle is the danger but With The Moonlight also has to be feared given connections but needs to improve.
