It took DREAM COMPOSER a couple of runs to hit top gear last season before he landed back-to-back wins and just 4lb higher here he looks to have a big chance to get back in the winner's enclosure. He built on an encouraging reappearance to finish second at Wetherby beaten just 3 lengths last month and with added fitness now can go one better. He will be ridden quietly by Graham Lee before looking to pounce late so hopefully, they go an end-to-end gallop. Fortamour looked better than ever winning over C&D last time but a 5lb higher mark demands more from him now so he might be opposable at a short enough price. Twilight Secret should enjoy coming back in trip but still needs more for me so that might leave Mark’s Choice as the main danger as he loves this C&D but needs to leave that reappearance run well behind.
