With a win and a close third at this track GRACES QUEST (best price 9/2) has to be of serious interest at Musselburgh on Monday. In hindsight she was delivered with her challenge sooner than ideal last time albeit only beaten a length at the line. She just raced a bit too freely on that occasion and I can see why Paul Mulrennan pushed the button when he did as she was going so easily. I just think she needs to be covered up for as long as possible and if this pans out more favourably she is definitely still a well handicapped filly. Boasty is in good form but was beaten last time and is up another 2lb so I wouldn’t want to be taking a short price about him here. Sun Festival looks a greater danger having shown a real battling attitude to get back up at Wolverhampton. He might have more to come so could fight this one out with the selection. Three Castles is a very solid yardstick and has to be respected but he has enough ground to make up with the selection.
