Andy Holding Selection (20:20 Southwell)

CAMEMBERT ELECTRIC (NAP) (best price 13-8) impressed with the way she scored at Newton Abbot two weeks ago this in-form mare looks poised to strike again while still allowed to run in Class 5 company.

Off the mark at Wetherby on just her second start in handicap company when seemingly appreciating a step up in trip, the daughter of Sholokhov came unstuck when dropped back to two miles at Chepstow next time out. Much better suited by the extra yardage at the West Country venue last time, the way she powered clear in the closing stages – running the fastest circuit time -  strongly suggested she will get even further in time and, with today’s extended 2m4f distance likely to prove ideal, this well-handicapped mare is expected to take few prisoners.

George Gamble's Frankfurt vs Rangers Selection

It all comes down to this and for both of these sides, this match goes down as one of the biggest games in their respective existences. It’s clear to see that these teams have tried to navigate their respective league games in order to prepare for this one, but both have shown their vulnerabilities in defence.

For Eintracht Frankfurt, they’ve conceded far too easily throughout the season. In fact, the German outfit has kept just three clean sheets across their last 21 matches in all competitions and it’d be surprising if the side that finished 11th in the Bundesliga were able to stop Rangers from scoring.

However, Rangers are far from impenetrable and Eintracht have still managed to score with ease of late. Given the magnitude of the occasion, mistakes are bound to be made and both teams slotting seems likely.

These two are confident in attacking scenarios but are often shaky at the back and I see goals here. Three of the last four Europa League finals have witnessed at least three goals and I’ll wager a couple of points that we see goals in this final too at 10/11 (priced up at 4/5 elsewhere).
