The progressive EL BELLO looks well placed to bring up the hat-trick at Wolverhampton on Thursday. He improved on just his second start in handicap company to score over C&D back in February and progressed again to win convincingly at Newcastle last time. The handicapper has reacted now raising him 8lb but he has been freshened up since and definitely looks to have more to come so should be hitting the line best here. New Approach filly Quick Change has a similar profile having improved to win over C&D when last seen back in January. She will need to improve to lay a glove on the selection though and might lack fitness. Galileo Glass missed by just a short head at Windsor but failed to back that up at Ripon last time. If he bounces back he might be best of the rest but a bit to prove. Dark Swansong is also worth a mention but he needs to leave that return run at Goodwood behind.

Hard to rule out any of the 4 here with great confidence but saying that I am keen to keep GREATGADIAN on side following that impressive C&D win last month. That was a career best on the figures and he found plenty when asked to go and settle the race. He is up 6lb from that but given his profile should have more to offer and this could be run to suit too as he will be likely ridden quietly before looking to pick them off late. Peter The Great has proved a little frustrating and while he still has potential I think he has spurned some good opportunities already. He was turned over at odds-on when beaten a length at Newcastle and I think I want to oppose here. Johnny Drama might pose a greater threat as he ran a cracker when beaten narrowly into fourth at York. He doesn’t have much if any in hand off his current mark but I still wouldn’t rule out a big run from him.
