Alongside my Notebooks and Value Tip today we also have a Longshot included in our oddschecker bets. This horse runs over in Scotland at Musselburgh and looks a huge price to me. CHARLES ST is the horse in question and he has done very little wrong in 4 starts to date. He bumped into a really progressive horse in the shape of Sea King at Doncaster last time and with the application of cheekpieces now I think he can improve enough to defy his current mark. He has been largely overlooked in the betting out to around 14/1 this morning and that looks a cracking each way play. There should be good pace on here with Trojan horse and Pons Aelius likely to go forward and I can see him getting a lovely position. Haggas is flying so Nathanael Greene may well prove too good but at the odds it would be crazy not to play the selection who could easily progress into a nice yardstick and take this.
