The Seamus Mullins trained Whatcoloristhewind (best priced at 3/1) got off the mark last time in a first time tongue tie and she should prove hard to beat off a 4lb higher mark in this race. The five-year-old proved disappointing for Gordon Elliott but has shown better form this season since joining Seamus Mullins and got off the mark over this course and distance 17 days ago under Harry Kimber claiming 5lbs.

Whatcoloristhewind won by 1 ½ lengths at the finish despite racing from out of the handicap with the trainer stating the more positive tactics and first time tongue tie as the reason for improvement. Connections have booked 7lb claimer Paddy Barlow for the ride which negates 2lbs of her rise and I expect her to prove hard to beat in this race.

Both You Name Him and Landen Calling (best priced at 11/10) were impressive winners last time but I prefer the chances of the former who should prove hard to beat if blinkers work for a second time. The six-year-old was beaten 18, 43, 29 and 31 lengths so far this season but benefitted from first time blinkers to win by four lengths last time over this course and distance.

That victory came off a mark of 97 and the handicapper has raised the grey 7lbs for the four length victory. The pair pulled a further 7 ½ lengths clear of the third so it looks strong form and Landen Calling should prove hard to beat if the blinkers work for a second time.

The Keiran Burke trained The Height Of Fame (best priced at 15/8) got off the mark over this course and distance earlier this month and she should prove hard to beat off a 9lb higher mark. The five-year-old mare outran odds of 150/1 to finish 2nd in a maiden hurdle at Exeter in first time cheekpieces before finishing 4th on her handicap debut here over 2m3f. The handicapper dropped her 2lbs down to a mark of 79 for that effort where she benefitted from a step up in trip to 2m5f resulting in an impressive 11 length victory.

The handicapper has raised The Height Of Fame 9lb for that victory which is fair and I expect her to prove hard to beat with Gavin Sheehan retaining the ride.
