Tadita Twitch won nicely at Ayr on first start following a wind op so has to be feared but that form has taken a couple of knocks since so it might be worth chancing GNAT ALLEY (best price 5/2) to bounce back. This filly by Caravaggio won in the style of an improver at Thirsk on return last month and I know she could only manage midfield at York since but that was fiercely competitive and she certainly wasn’t disgraced. This is easier and she is off the same mark so I think she can resume her progress now. Tadita Twitch does look the most likely danger but Burning Emotion also has to be respected as she opened her account at Kempton sticking to the task well under pressure and has more to come. She has been handed a stiff enough opening mark though so will likely need another sizeable step forward to take this.

Oscula ran out an impressive winner of the Woodcote here last year so she will have her supporters but I thought she might be worth taking on with Richard Hannon's DAWN OF LIBERATION (best price 5/2). The latter is a colt on the up having won 2 of his last 3. He is progressive and deserves a crack at Listed level again. The drop back to 7f should be in his favour if anything and it wouldn’t surprise me to see Ryan Moore positive on him here. He has a nice mix of speed and stamina and looks the most obvious winner to me so it surprises me there is as much between him and Oscula. The latter has failed to show her form recently and is quite hard to weigh up now. Ever Given won impressively at Chester but that tight track suits him well and he disappointed at Haydock so needs to bounce back.
