GYTO's Wednesday notebook double pays 10/1.

I know THE WRITER has been turned over as a short priced favourite the last twice but I still think he brings a fair bit of potential to the table and he was just too keen over a mile and a half at Windsor last time. Back down in trip here with potential for a good pace to run down I think he’ll be seen to good effect. That close second to Captain Kane on penultimate start looks really solid form and he should be a fair bit better than a mark of 49 currently. Rodolfo is lightly raced and while he didn’t show a great deal at Wolverhampton last time he is expected to step forward from that and it wouldn’t be a massive surprise to see him chase the selection home. Cavendish is the potential pace angle so while he needs to take a big step forward he shouldn’t be ruled out. Overstate has a first-time visor and is another one that needs considering.
20:30 Kempton
The hat-trick looks to be on the cards for the progressive CHARLIE’S YARD at Kempton on Wednesday night. This good looking sort impressed making all over C&D last month and backed that up despite idling somewhat in the closing stages at Bath last time. Confidence is clearly high now and under likely aggressive tactics again here they might not get to him. Smith also clocked a career best to win at Lingfield last time and looks the danger off that. I’m not sure this track plays to his strengths though and if the selection goes up through the gears he might struggle to reel him in. All Yours is who I see as a greater threat as he is a four-time winner at this track and he was back to his best winning at Nottingham last time. He carries a penalty but is likely to keep the selection honest. Tin Fandango likely best of the rest but enough to find.
