Aryaah continues to progress and he impressed again at Leicester last time making it 2 wins from his last 3 but I like one in here at a price against. I thought PURPLE ICE was a big eye-catcher at Haydock on handicap debut last month. He was a step slow into stride and as a result was held up by Connor Beasley. He picked up the bit a couple of furlongs out and made good headway to finish second, only actually beaten a length and a quarter at the line. He will definitely improve from that and going up a couple of furlongs in trip in softer ground looks ideal so I’m surprised to see him as big as 8/1 at the time of writing. I’m sure he’ll be backed and I can’t see how he doesn’t run a big race here. Chips And Rice is likely to improve now handicapping and she is another one to note in a race that should throw up plenty of future winners.
