14:40 Chepstow

With just the 3 runs to his name BIBULOUS (best price 10/3) can be expected to take a big step forward on his handicap debut at Chepstow on Friday. He was a horse I kept a close eye on last year having showed potential on debut behind Lone Fighter and then improved to make all at Kempton. He was backed into odds-on at Wolverhampton when last seen but couldn’t sustain the gallop and only managed to finish third. It’s still early days with him and I know connections think he still has a lot of potential. If he is fit and ready to go (market should be revealing) then he could prove a cut above these. Some Nightmare loves it here and recorded his third win at the track last time. He is up another 5lb though and is off a career-high mark now so this won’t be easy. Michaels Choice also has to be feared as he clocked a career best at Salisbury and is clearly thriving for his new yard.
