Monday Racing Tips from Steve Ryder

This looks a competitive 0-60 handicap but preference goes to REECELTIC (best priced at 9/4) who has shown good form at Lingfield previously. The Pat Phelan trained seven-year-old has form figures of 2162413 in handicaps at Lingfield on the AW including victories off marks of 58 and 59.

Reeceltic has been in good form this season with a win and three places from six runs including when 2nd at Chelmsford 16 days ago. That was off a mark of 60 and the handicapper has left him on the same mark for this race. Go Fox is interesting on stable debut for Neil King but I prefer the chances of Reeceltic back at this track.

The well bred newcomer Swift Lioness heads the market for this novice race but I prefer the chances of ENTRANCEMENT (best priced at 4/1) who ran well on her debut at Newbury two weeks ago. The Harry Dunlop trained daughter of Expert Eye outran her odds of 25/1 to finish 6th on her debut at Newbury staying on in eyecatching style late on.

That run came over 6f and Entrancement shaped like this step up in trip to 7f would suit her well. Bara Lacha probably sets the standard on previous form but Entrancement is lightly raced and should progress from her debut effort and prove hard to beat.

The Rae Guest trained WALTZING INTIME (best priced at 10/1) makes her handicap debut in this race off an opening mark of 58 and she looks worth chancing up in trip. The daughter of Australia finished 3rd on her debut at Kempton before finishing well beaten in her two starts so far this season. Those two runs this season have been over 7f on the AW so it seems significant that she now makes her handicap debut on turf over a trip of 1m2f.

Waltzing Intime has attracted support in the overnight markets which is a positive and I think she looks worth backing with up to five places available.
