Appreciate runs here carrying a penalty but his last success was by a short head and the added 7lb looks likely to be enough to stop his winning run. Easkey Lad is just 1lb higher than his last winning mark and could go well here, but KOLISI could be the answer. Only beaten half a length when running on well over two miles at Worcester, the longer distance here might see him in a better light.Prediction : 1st Kolisi 2nd Appreciate 3rd Easkey Lad

LUNAR SHADOW was very impressive on her first start over hurdles at Southwell after leading two out and going clear for a seven-length success, and if she is at the same level now she might prove difficult to beat. Cool Rain has some acceptable form in Ireland to call upon and could be of interest on her first start for new connections, while Rock The Hill won a point-to-point at Ballycrystal and is an interesting recruit for trainer Katy Price.Prediction : 1st Lunar Shadow 2nd Cool Rain 3rd Rock The Hill

Thahab Ifraj is the only course winner after scoring here in 2017, though his last success was over a year ago. He can go well off this mark, but GLIMPSE OF GOLD might land his hat-trick at the age of 11. A comfortable winner at Fakenham on his last two starts, a 4lb rise may not stop him, though he will need a career best. Manor Park is a consistent sort over obstacles who could get in to the top three once again.Prediction : 1st Glimpse Of Gold 2nd Thahab Ifraj 3rd Manor Park

BOSTON JOE proved too strong for his rivals at Ffos Las in May and he can double the dose off a 5lb higher mark. Rebecca Curtis' charge could get a lovely tow into the race from recent Fakenham scorer Arbennig, though he could find further improvement in first-time cheekpieces. Top weight Smith's Bay's recent spell over hurdles wasn't a fruitful one but he's well treated now returned to the larger obstacles off a mark of 103. Prediction : 1st Boston Joe 2nd Arbennig 3rd Smiths Bay

AWESOMEDUDE must concede weight all round but after three starts over timber, he retains potential. Arriving from James Ferguson's Newmarket stable, the son of Australia hit the crossbar at Southwell before disposing of his rivals at Huntingdon last month. He can repel the likely challenge of Tardree, who went close over C&D on his latest outing. Alan King's Rafiki must enter calculations, while Olly's Folly and Ten Ten Twenty both need to take a step forward. Prediction : 1st Awesomedude 2nd Tardree 3rd Rafiki

HELFORD RIVER appeared to benefit from recent wind surgery when filling the runner-up spot on his second start since the operation over C&D last month. The eight-year-old drops in class here and, if able to replicate his most recent performance, he rates the one to beat. The consistent Rizzardo looks likely to make his presence felt along with Max Young's Orchestrated. Wavecrest could have things his own way at the head of affairs and can't be ruled out. Prediction : 1st Helford River 2nd Rizzardo 3rd Orchestrated
