Stallone was only half a length away at Pontefract last time and could make an impact in this.

He sports a first-time hood now which could spark some additional progress and he could go well. Sophiesticate ran on for second on her last outing over this course and distance, while Heights Of Aran who won off a 2lb lower mark on his seasonal debut over this track and trip.

GLITTERING CHOICE was just touched off at Leicester on her seasonal reappearance and is fancied to go one better with that run under her belt. The Hugo Palmer-trained filly showed considerable improvement for the step up in trip on that occasion and the likely ease in underfoot conditions should also suit. May Punch was narrowly denied a double at Ripon recently and must enter calculations in her current form. Cosa Sara has been raised 4lb for her win at Ayr last month and is also worth considering.

The Richard Fahey-trained ACOUSTIC gets the vote here having shaped well on his first start in handicap company when fifth at Wetherby last week. The three-year-old colt was awkward at the start on that occasion and if learning from that experience he could take all the beating. Prince Of Persia hasn't shown much in all his three runs to date but has been gelded since and must be respected in what looks a winnable affair. Copperline has over three lengths to overturn with the selection from that Wetherby run but this extra furlong may unlock further improvement.
