With Maskia running from 10lb out of the handicap this would appear to be a match between Hell Red and COULD BE TROUBLE, who is marginally preferred. Donald McCain's charge bumped into an improver at Bangor last month but, given she made a significant error four out, she was arguably unfortunate to lose. The five-year old can make amends with first-time cheekpieces a potential source of improvement.
Prediction : 1st Could Be Trouble 2nd Hell Red 3rd Maskia

A chance is taken on ISLE OF OIR. The eight-year-old makes his belated hurdles debut after filling the runner-up spot in a bumper at Punchestown last March. The 457-day layoff must come as a concern, but the standard set is far from daunting and this may be an ideal opportunity. Copper Fox is likely to be on the premises, though he'll need more, while High Yield is worthy of consideration.
Prediction : 1st Isle Of Oir 2nd Copper Fox 3rd High Yield

LADY MALARKEY performed creditably in a 0-115 earlier this month, where she perhaps failed to stay 2m7f. Dave Roberts' charge drops in both trip and class, though, and that could enable her to regain the winning thread. Hello Bob may be more competitive following a recent pipe-opener at Ffos Las, while the remainder are headed by Ayr Of Elegance and Branson Missouri.
Prediction : 1st Lady Malarkey 2nd Hello Bob 3rd Branson Missouri

MAHANAKHON POWER was pulled out at Hamilton last week due to unsuitable ground conditions and, assuming there is not a huge amount of rain prior to this seller, he ought to go well. He's yet to get off the mark in seven attempts over timber but looks to have been found an excellent opportunity here. Secret Secret didn't appear to stay at Ffos Las last time and this drop in trip looks sure to suit, so he is feared most. The first-time blinkers may have the desired effect on Rock On Tommy, who is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Mahanakhon Power 2nd Secret Secret 3rd Rock On Tommy

Although ROCK LEGEND was a beaten favourite at Sedgefield last time out, he may be worth another shot for Dan Skelton, who continues to have his string in fine order. He was beaten just over a length latest and this return to handicap company could be more suitable. Marajman was last seen chasing Ask Paddington home at Market Rasen last month and that form has been boosted since with the winner going in again at Hexham over the weekend. Farouk De Cheneau was just touched off at Wincanton in April and that was his best run so far since coming over from France.
Prediction : 1st Rock Legend 2nd Marajman 3rd Farouk De Cheneau

DARANOVA may have another 4lb rise to contend with for a relatively comfortable victory at Bangor last month, but the eight-year-old is in the form of his life at present and the extra two furlongs could eke out further improvement. Premier D'troice has been shaping as though his turn could be near in recent outings and the fact he is now 14lb lower than his last victory is another plus. Course winner No No Maestro makes plenty of appeal as well.
Prediction : 1st Daranova 2nd Premier Dtroice 3rd No No Maestro

A runaway winner over C&D last Thursday, GOLD LEADER is taken to follow up under a 7lb penalty, which is negated by Finn Lambert's 7lb claim. The daughter of Gold Well narrowly shades the verdict over Mackie Dee, who was a comfortable winner himself here recently but may not have the same scope for improvement as the selection. Hana Collonges is another who did it well on handicap debut last month and she is likely to be in the mix.
Prediction : 1st Gold Leader 2nd Mackie Dee 3rd Hana Collonges
