Having missed the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket, Inspiral is back for the Coronation Stakes and headlines our 80/1 most backed treble on Friday.
Coronation Stakes
Inspiral
Top of our most backed list for Day 4 at Royal Ascot 2022 is INSPIRAL, a filly by Frankel who enjoyed a flawless juvenile campaign last season, winning each of her four starts including a Group 1 victory in the Fillies' Mile at Newmarket.
She has shortened in price (now 3/1) since the confirmed absence of ante-post favourite Homeless Songs earlier this week and will be tough to beat in the feature race on Day 4 - particularly with Ascot specialist Frankie Dettori on board.
Since final declarations were made on Wednesday, Inspiral has found herself in 4.71% of the betslips for the day as a whole and 35.64% of those specifically on the Coronation Stakes.
Albany Stakes
Mawj
The second leg of today’s treble takes us to the first race of the day in the Albany Stakes, for which Godolphin-owned two-year-old MAWJ has shortened from 10/3 on Wednesday to a best price 2/1 at the time of writing (7/4 in places).
She produced an impressive display on her only outing so far at Newmarket, winning by 4 3/4l as a 12/1 outsider. Accordingly slashed in price, this major player for trainer Saeed bin Suroor features in 4.67% of all Royal Ascot betslips for Friday’s racing and 30.81% of bets on the Albany Stakes.
Palace Of Holyroodhouse Stakes
Ladies Church
Last but not least comes one of the longest odds shots we've featured in this week's most backed series for Royal Ascot 2022 at a current best price of 6/1 (in from 8/1 overnight).
However, despite the level playing field suggested by the latest odds (five runners priced between 8 and 12/1), LADIES CHURCH has dominated the betting through oddschecker.
At the time of writing, the three-year-old accounts for 3.74% of all the bets across the seven-race card and 27.12% of all those on the Palace Of Holyroodhouse Stakes.
