Raised 3lb for victory at Ripon on his latest outing, Rollajam ought to remain competitive, along with Wootton'sun, who wasn't disgraced at Leicester in May. Animato was unable to justify favouritism at Haydock last time but a return to form isn't out of the question.

CASSY O bounced back to form when second over this trip at Carlisle last time and a 1lb rise for that is far from insurmountable. Tim Easterby's charge has form on fast ground so the underfoot conditions should be fine, but if they do find him out then Darkness could be the main beneficiary as he has been holding his own in big-field handicaps over 7f and has run well over this trip in the past. Court Of Session struggled off 1lb lower at Ascot last time but has claims on his all-weather form, while Trais Fluors is starting to look feasibly treated.

It looks best to focus on the top three in the race here, all rated 70, with HAJJAM the tentative pick. Liam Bailey's charge scored in a similar contest over this track and trip last time, beating Eldelbar by a neck, and he might be able to confirm that form despite meeting on 1lb worse terms. Juan Les Pins went close in this company at Lingfield in January and was not beaten far off a mark of 72 two starts ago, so could be capable of getting involved in this, though he does give 2lb to the pair with the same rating as him.

RUM GOING ON has paid a price for consistency recently, creeping up the ratings, but he was only half a length behind Kodebreaker on his most recent outing over this course and distance. He has been given a 1lb raised mark for that run and gets the vote ahead of Time To Rumble, who has gone up 4lb for his latest win on soft ground. Felix Adler is interesting in a first-time hood, but he will need to find extra based on what he has shown so far.

EY UP ITS THE BOSS could prove hard to beat if anywhere near his best. He defied a 4lb rise to win at Leicester last month, so a 3lb higher mark for that win does not look set to stop him in his tracks. He previously showed promise at this course when a running-on second over 6f in April and more recent form suggests that he's even better over this longer trip. Giselles Izzy is interesting on her first run for a new stable, but Billy McGarry would probably prefer a longer trip.

PROCLIVITY was just denied by a neck at Haydock earlier this month and races off the same mark in this contest. The drying ground should not be too much of a problem given she has run well in second on good ground at Ripon previously. Prodigious Blue seems her biggest danger given he placed second over this course and distance on his most recent outing, but So Smart is another who may not be far away having been unlucky the last twice.
