Monday's GYTO Value Tip is a 4/1 shot at Windsor.
18:05 Windsor
I’m going to chance NELSON GAY bringing his best form to Windsor on Monday night. I thought he shaped with a great deal of promise on return at Epsom over 5f. He was only beaten two lengths at the finish and was running on well at the line. George Rooke raced closer to the pace than ideal when only fifth back up to 6f at the same venue last time and while that wasn’t a bad effort I’m convinced he is a fair bit better than that. This track could prove ideal and with the yard hitting a few winners over the past few days and Buick getting the leg up all could be primed for a big run here. He is only 4lb above his last winning mark and I’d have him down as nearer a 90-rated horse when things go his way. Mitrosonfire is likeable and was back to form at Nottingham last time so looks the obvious danger despite a 3lb rise. At a bigger price Capote’s Dream has plenty of ability and would also be a danger if channeling it right in a first-time visor.
