20:10 Newbury

With my original Value Tip Atomise now a non runner I’ve got a replacement running at Newbury tonight. ALABLAQ was a big drifter in the market last night out to as big as 15/2 at one stage. He has recorded the best speed figures in this field so it’s no surprise to see the renewed support for him this morning. Even at 7/2 I think he is the most likely winner of this so I’d still recommend backing him at that price. It feels like he has been around for a while but he is still just a 4yo and we have only actually seen him 6 times over 7f. Judging by his recent form he could still have more to come and when the money is down for this yard it usually proves significant. He can race freely so it will be interesting to see what Hollie Doyle does with him. I’m assuming he’ll go forward and there are quite a few that will be waiting for a late run so there is a chance he could slip this field.
