The Eve Johnson Houghton trained Greg The Great (best priced at 3/1) got off the mark over this course and distance last time and he should prove hard to beat off a 4lb higher mark. The three-year-old gelding showed very little on his first three career starts when sent off 50/1, 100/1 and 80/1 but ran with credit on his handicap debut at Bath on shaping like he was in need of his reappearance.

Greg The Great won last time over this course and distance off a mark of 53 when ridden by Georgia Dobie and the pair should prove hard to beat off top weight in this 0-55 handicap off a mark of 57.

Greg The Great - 1pt @ 3/1

This looks a weak maiden with the second favourite All Go only rated 66 after four career starts and I feel Shawnee Warrior (best priced at 6/5) should prove hard to beat on his second start. The David O’Meara trained gelding finished a close 3rd on his debut at Wetherby 13 days ago when only beaten 1 ¾ lengths at the finish over 7f.

Shawnee Warrior made really good headway late on over that trip shaping like this step up in trip to over a mile would suit him well and he should prove hard to beat based on RPRs in comparison to his rivals.

Shawnee Warrior - 1pt @ 6/5

The Michael Bell trained Stone Circle (best priced at 11/10) finished a close 2nd at Carlisle a week ago and he should prove hard to beat off the same mark. The five-year-old gelding ran well to finish a close 3rd at Yarmouth in May before finishing only a head behind Monsieur Kodi last week off the same mark.

Danny Tudhope rode Stone Circle last time but connections have now booked the talented 5lb claimer Harry Davies for the ride and I expect him to prove hard to beat off the same mark off top weight in this 0-60 handicap.

Stone Circle - 1pt @ 11/10
