Greg The Great won cosily on his latest outing over this course and distance but, given he only stayed on to win by a nose, a 4lb raised mark could see him struggle. Therefore, preference is for FAST DANSEUSE, who was just less than four lengths away on her penultimate run in April over this distance. She has dropped 3lb in the handicap since then so remains an interesting contender, despite a disappointing run over half a furlong further last month. Another to note is Gilbert, having only gone up 2lb for a win earlier this month over 1m.
Prediction : 1st Fast Danseuse 2nd Gilbert 3rd Greg The Great

SHAWNEE WARRIOR showed plenty of promise on his racecourse debut at Wetherby over 7f earlier this month, finishing a length and three-quarters behind the winner despite a slow start. He looks bred to appreciate this step up in trip and rates a solid contender having run on late in the aforementioned contest. Another who could improve from her debut is Foursome, having not been able to reach the leaders over slightly further last month, while All Go could use Callum Hutchinson's 5lb claim to her advantage.
Prediction : 1st Shawnee Warrior 2nd Foursome 3rd All Go

AGAPANTHER won over this distance at Kempton last month and was not disgraced in second behind Pablo Del Pueblo over 6f on her latest attempt. She remains 4lb higher than her last winning mark but Harry Davies' 5lb claim makes her look feasibly treated in this contest, so she gets the vote ahead of King Of War, who could prefer further than this. The David Evans-trained Amjad is another who is likely to require a stiffer stamina test having stayed on over 1m last time.
Prediction : 1st Agapanther 2nd King Of War 3rd Amjad

JACKMEISTER RUDI had been knocking on the door prior to getting off the mark at Brighton on his latest start and the son of Churchill is open to further improvement off a 3lb higher rating. Hope Probe's recent course form is likely to see him enter calculations, in particular his victory over 5f last time, while Iconic Knight and Bondi Girl are others with viable claims.
Prediction : 1st Jackmeister Rudi 2nd Hope Probe 3rd Iconic Knight

ASTROPHYSICS built on a string of consistent performances when scoring over C&D at the start of the month and the 10-year-old warrants plenty of respect in his bid for back-to-back victories. Shesadabber was fourth in the aforementioned contest and franked the form less than a week later with her own success at this track. She is expected to be in the mix along with Stone Circle.
Prediction : 1st Astrophysics 2nd Shesadabber 3rd Stone Circle

LAND OF EAGLES benefited from stepping up in trip when second on his handicap debut at Yarmouth earlier this month and this appears to be an excellent opportunity for the son of Havana Gold to shed the maiden tag. City Streak hasn't appeared to quite get home recently over 1m4f so the drop back in trip may see an improved effort, while Bellstreet Bridie and Cotai Star appeal most of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Land Of Eagles 2nd City Streak 3rd Bellstreet Bridie

Lethal Touch won for the first time at Nottingham last Monday in a classified event when showing the best form of his career to date. However, he will need to back that performance up under a 6lb penalty and a chance is taken with SHUT UP AND DANCE. The daughter of Kodiac showed improved form when fourth in a Kempton nursery in October and her pedigree on the dam's side offers some hope that the extra couple of furlongs may suit. Hellavaheart is entitled to improve from his recent third at Brighton over further.
Prediction : 1st Shut Up And Dance 2nd Lethal Touch 3rd Hellavaheart
