A return to the all-weather could help Glasstrees back to form, as she finished last at Goodwood on her latest run but was third at Chelmsford the time before.

This can go the way of ROGUE SPIRIT, who was narrowly beaten by Chateau on his second start last month and, given the aforementioned has since contested a Listed race at Ascot, the selection certainly looks worth noting. Dusky Prince has been running well in defeat on turf and should give another good account, while Bang On The Bell warrants respect on his C&D success two starts ago but he races off an 8lb higher mark now.

William Haggas continues to fire in the winners and has strong claims of adding to his tally courtesy of PUBLIC OPINION, who built on the promise of her Newmarket introduction when scoring over 6f at Lingfield a fortnight ago. Doing her best work at the finish, the step back up in trip could spark further progress and she is narrowly preferred to Diamond Ranger, who only just failed to make it two from two when second over 1m at Brighton. Federal Street's debut fifth at Chelmsford wasn't devoid of promise and he could build on that.

The three-year-old looks fairly well handicapped off a mark of 49 given she beat Summer Secrets (now rated 53) in that contest, and she may be better than her rating suggests. She seemed to appreciate the step up to 7f that day and she remains of interest if she can replicate that form on the all-weather. Monaadhil seems her biggest threat having just got up to win at Chelmsford over this distance recently, while Hello Power is another to note.

Given the six-year-old was denied a clear run in the final stages, he did well to stay on in the circumstances. He gets the nod ahead of Mr Fustic, who has gone up 6lb following a length and a half victory last time, also over this course and distance, while Vivency will have to find more now 4lb higher than her last winning mark.
