A big field for this but by no means will it be easy but I’ve been waiting for STRAWMAN to run again following that Redcar win at the start of the month. He had run poorly at Doncaster on return and then at Hamilton last month but came out of the doldrums to stay on strongly and get up late last time. When he was back to form last year he went on to land a hat-trick so he is very much a horse to keep on side when the fire is reignited. The horse he beat Myristica came out and won at Ripon and then went in again at Beverley yesterday and the third Enfranchise won a good race at Pontefract over the weekend so the form has been franked. He's up 3lb but is unexposed over this longer trip and looks sure to go well with Connor Beasley in the saddle again. Plenty of dangers likely headed by four-time course winner Detective. He's up another 2lb and off a career-high mark though so definitely needs more. My Little Queens could also be progressive.
