BOOM THE GROOM (best priced at 9/2) won handicaps previously in his career off marks in the 100s and although he has now badly regressed, he looks handicapped to win off a mark of 62. The Tony Carroll trained eleven-year-old finished a close 2nd over this course and distance last time off this mark despite being carried left late on.

The handicapper has left Boom The Groom on this mark of 62 which is generous and I expect him to prove hard to beat in this 0-60 handicap.

Boom The Groom - 1pt @ 9/2

The Daniel & Claire Kubler trained ZULU GIRL (best priced at 13/2) has fantastic form at Brighton and she should prove hard to beat on her return to this venue. The five-year-old has form figures of 2111 at Brighton including a win over a mile here in May of a mark of 76.

Zulu Girl finished well beaten at Bath last time off this mark of 78 but this return to Brighton should suit with Nicola Currie once again on board.

Zulu Girl - 1pt e/w @ 13/2

16:35 Brighton

The Brian O’Rourke trained DELAHOUSSAYE (best priced at 4/1) has been running consistently well this season and he should gain a much deserved victory in this race. The three-year-old has finished 3rd at Bath twice off marks of 56 before finishing a close 2nd at Brighton last time off the same mark.

Connections now fit Delahoussaye with a first time visor instead of blinkers and he should run well yet again off this mark of 56 with Pat Cosgrave taking over.

Delahoussaye - 1pt @ 4/1
