Topofthecotswolds looked to be going very well in front when falling last time out, so the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained runner wouldn't be without a chance if he reproduced that run and managed to complete.

Gata Ban made his debut under Rules last time, finishing a well-held second at Fontwell, albeit over an extended 2m5f and it wouldn't be a surprise to see Neil Mulholland's runner make the frame.

A repeat of that run would see this gelding go close in this contest. Luke San wasn't unfancied for his hurdles debut last time, but he was unable to reward market support when unseating Alex Edwards, who takes the ride again here and claims 3lb. Old Page could be an interesting recruit for Christian Williams, as the five-year-old comes here fresh after a point-to-point success last time.
