The Archie Watson trained SON AND SANNIE (best priced at 11/4) is 2/2 under Harry Davies and can hopefully win off only a 3lb higher mark in this race. The six-year-old has only won four times in his career but two of those have been so far in 2022. He won on his reappearance at Windsor in an apprentice handicap off a mark of 68 under Harry Davies before following up last time at Chepstow off a mark of 73 with Harry Davies claiming 7lbs.

This race will be tougher off a mark of 76 with Harry Davies now only claiming 5lbs but Son And Sannie is in good form at present should prove hard to beat.

This looks a weak fillies listed race with only OSCULA (best priced at 15/8) rated over 100 and I feel she should prove hard to beat if running up to form. The George Boughey stable are in good form currently and the daughter of Galileo Gold has been a model of consistency so far in her career apart a below par in the Saudi Derby at Riyadh in February on dirt.

The three-year-old returned with a close 2nd in the Surrey Stakes at Epsom on her reappearance and a repeat of that run should be good enough for Oscula to win this. Snooze N You Lose has a penalty for her listed win at Musselburgh earlier this month which will make things tougher and I expect Oscula to win for the fourth time in her career.

The Joe Tizzard stable had a fantastic day yesterday with four winners from five runners and COAL STOCK (best priced at 2/1) should continue that good form and remain unbeaten for the stable. The seven-year-old won on his stable debut in April by 12 lengths off a mark of 103 before following up off a 10lb higher mark at Fontwell on his next start.

Coal Stock won easily last time by 20 lengths at Fontwell off a mark of 113 despite blundering at the last and Harry Kimber finishing the race without his irons. The handicapper has raised him 8lbs for that victory up to a mark of 121 but he is clearly thriving at present and should prove hard to beat with Harry Kimber once again claiming 5lbs.
