Callum Hutchinson is an in-form apprentice and he rides Hanoverian King here, as the gelding switches to the turf for the first time on his 10th career start. He will need to improve to win, but a place remains a possibility. Mccann The Man might also get involved if cheekpieces help him to focus, but LENNY'S SPIRIT may have their measure. An easy winner at Nottingham last time, he has been put up 8lb by the handicapper but races with a 5lb penalty now, leaving him 3lb well-in.
Prediction : 1st Lennys Spirit 2nd Mccann The Man 3rd Hanoverian King

DIOMED SPIRIT only had to be pushed out to win at Lingfield on his second start and, although he has to carry a penalty, jockey Luke Catton takes a handy 5lb off his back. We may well see him follow up here with a clear run, with Continuation his biggest rival. Not beaten far when fourth on his debut at Brighton, he may have learnt from that experience and could be better suited by this track. Inspirited is an interesting newcomer for the Marco Botti yard and he could run into a place, though he might be better suited by further in time.
Prediction : 1st Diomed Spirit 2nd Continuation 3rd Inspirited

The in-form APPIER is looking to make it five wins in a row after success over 1m2f and three over 1m4f, the latest by three lengths at Ripon. He does have a 6lb penalty to shoulder here but is due to go up a further 3lb for future races, so connections are hoping to make the most of this opportunity. If he stays the added distance here he may prove too strong for Captain Howse, who is an obvious danger in a first-time visor, and perhaps Thermometer, who is another to consider for a place at least.
Prediction : 1st Appier 2nd Captain Howse 3rd Thermometer

Course winner Spirited Guest has the services of top apprentice Harry Davies and the six-year-old can produce a bold showing. However, he may have to settle for minor honours behind George Boughey's AIR TO AIR, who returns to the track after posting some useful form as a three-year-old. Tamaska, a C&D winner last month, can also make his presence felt.
Prediction : 1st Air To Air 2nd Spirited Guest 3rd Tamaska

COLOMBE arguably produced a career-best effort when runner-up at Windsor on her latest start and the daughter of Mehmas can notch her third win this season. Thegreatestshowman finished well when seventh in the Epsom Dash on his latest outing and is a danger, while High Velocity, who shaped better than the bare result may suggest at Musselburgh last time, shouldn't be far away either.
Prediction : 1st Colombe 2nd Thegreatestshowman 3rd High Velocity

AMOR DE MI VIDA's turn looked to be nearing when she filled the runner-up berth at Newmarket last Friday and, against some out-of-form rivals, she can regain the winning thread. It has been a while between drinks for connections of Minhaaj but she's become well handicapped as a result and it would be foolish to dismiss her, while Aish could show more in first-time cheekpieces.
Prediction : 1st Amor De Mi Vida 2nd Minhaaj 3rd Aish

TORIOUS opened her account at the sixth time of asking when successful over C&D earlier this month and she looks to have an excellent chance of following up at the weights. Cazeva Princess was a good third at Chelmsford on her return from a 303-day absence and further improvement would make her a likely challenger along with recent Lingfield scorer Nigg Bay, who is respected back on turf.
Prediction : 1st Torious 2nd Cazeva Princess 3rd Nigg Bay
