Caravaggio filly KARKIYNA can follow up at the Curragh on Saturday for Johnny Murtagh. She was a bit of an eye-catcher on return over C&D back in March and has improved with every run since. She pulled clear with the winner when second to Stayincotai at Gowran and then opened her account at Fairyhouse last month staying on strongly. The field were well strung out and now she has her head in front she can go on with it. She is up 6lb and this is competitive but 5/1 looks too big to me. Emilie Gray ran well when fourth to Markaz Paname in a Group 3 when last seen and should make her presence felt but no juice in her price. Night Of Romance won well at Gowran last time and the yard are in form so she could end up emerging as the main danger. Surrounding has won here in the past and she should be fitter from that return run at Gowran so she also has to enter calculations.
