A case can be made for several but perhaps none more so than POWER UNDER ME, whose winning streak came to an end in the Greelands Stakes last month. Ger Lyons' four-year-old could take all of the beating dropping in class, as his official rating of 110 suggests, and he can regain the winning thread. The progressive Pirate Jenny should appreciate a return to 6f after being narrowly denied over 5f on her latest outing and is feared most, while Hermana Estrella could bounce back from a below-par effort in the Irish Guineas.
Prediction : 1st Power Under Me 2nd Pirate Jenny 3rd Hermana Estrella

In what promises to be a competitive event, preference is for KARKIYNA, given she earned a breakthrough success on good ground recently. She looks feasibly treated going handicapping for the first time off 85, getting a weight-for-age allowance, and Danny Sheehy takes off 3lb in the plate, so she could go very close. Night Of Romance should not be underestimated following her most recent win, while Emilie Gray is another worthy of consideration dropping in grade.
Prediction : 1st Karkiyna 2nd Night Of Romance 3rd Emilie Gray

WEXFORD NATIVE has been a work in progress for Jim Bolger since his debut win at Navan in March. The son of Teofilo showed what he is capable of when beaten only three lengths in the Irish 2000 Guineas last month and he can strike on this drop in grade. Emphatic Answer bounced back to form with a narrow defeat in a Group 2 over C&D and she is sure to be a major player alongside Straight Answer, who is very interesting going over a mile for the first time. Pretreville and Raadobarg can also have a say in proceedings.
Prediction : 1st Wexford Native 2nd Emphatic Answer 3rd Straight Answer

Blackbeard (fourth) and Age Of Kings (seventh) both contested the Coventry at Royal Ascot with the pair well supported in the market before the race. The former, who had been unbeaten going into that event, is preferred once again, with Ryan Moore choosing him, but the vote goes to SHARTASH. The son of Invincible Spirit improved from his debut third here to beat Age Of Kings at Naas and better is expected up in grade, especially with him coming into this a fresher horse. Crispy Cat was unlucky when third in the Norfolk and he is likely to be in the mix.
Prediction : 1st Shartash 2nd Blackbeard 3rd Crispy Cat

Tuesday bids to become the first filly since Balanchine in 1994 to beat her male counterparts and Aidan O'Brien's sole representative arrives having just denied Emily Upjohn in the Oaks at Epsom. She could have more to offer, with that being her first effort over further than a mile, but WESTOVER, who was third in the Derby, shades the vote. The son of Frankel was hampered at a crucial point and the manner in which he finished off suggests the stiffer finish here will play to his strengths. Piz Badile (12th) didn't appear to handle Epsom and is worth another chance, while Hannibal Barca and Lionel are others who are capable of progressing further.
Prediction : 1st Westover 2nd Tuesday 3rd Piz Badile

French recruit RUMBLES OF THUNDER looked better than ever when sluicing to an impressive victory in Gowran Park Listed company on just her second start for Paddy Twomey last month and the highly-regarded filly looks more than capable of winning a Group 3 event of this nature. Bear Story is still searching for a first turf success but a repeat of his performance when a runner-up in the Group 2 Mooresbridge Stakes over C&D would elevate him firmly into contention, while Vega Magnifico created a hugely favourable impression when landing a Navan maiden last time and looks open to any amount of improvement.
Prediction : 1st Rumbles Of Thunder 2nd Bear Story 3rd Vega Magnifico

Unsurprisingly, a case can be made for plenty in this field and Pierre Lapin, one of five runners for Adrian McGuinness, is a noteworthy contender after an eye-catching fourth in the Emerald Mile over course and distance last time. However, NO MORE PORTER finished a couple of places ahead of his rival when second on that occasion and, with the possibility of more still to come, the four-year-old gets the nod. The Joseph O'Brien-trained Dante's Pass remains unexposed and is an intriguing prospect on his handicap debut.
Prediction : 1st No More Porter 2nd Pierre Lapin 3rd Dantes Pass

CHICAGO BEAR has looked a different beast since being gelded and returning from a break, building on a couple of solid placed efforts to score both over 1m here and over 1m1f at Leopardstown. He now goes back up in trip and has a further 7lb rise to contend with, but remains the one to beat. Bay Of Bengal has done little wrong in two starts thus far and another bold bid is likely, while Dance Jupiter, Crystal Black, Magic Chegaga and Daylight Come add further spice to the race.
Prediction : 1st Chicago Bear 2nd Bay Of Bengal 3rd Dance Jupiter
