All-weather winner Sea Of Charm was making just her second turf start when narrowly thwarted over 1m4f here on her penultimate outing and remains of interest but, with her yard struggling for winners right now, NUBLE could prove better value. A four-time winner on the all-weather over the winter, Marco Botti's mare looked to be coming to hand when a staying-on fourth at Sandown last time and her present mark doesn't look insurmountable with talented apprentice Stefano Cherchi taking off a handy 3lb. Cathayensis and Katyusha could also feature if putting their best foot forward.
Prediction : 1st Nuble 2nd Sea Of Charm 3rd Cathayensis

BOOKMARK displayed a clear liking for this C&D when swooping late last month, despite her rider dropping the whip, and it would be no surprise to see her oblige off just 2lb higher here, given that not too much should be read into a below-par effort at Chester last time when she blew the start. Wow William looked better than ever when scraping home in a tactical affair at Leicester a fortnight ago and remains of interest off just a 2lb higher mark, while Iconique and Oriental Art aren't out of things if bringing their best.
Prediction : 1st Bookmark 2nd Wow William 3rd Iconique

ABU MALEK, an impressive maiden winner over C&D on his debut last year, made a pleasing return for his new yard when just touched off over 5f here three weeks ago and that run should have teed him up perfectly for this handicap debut with the return to 6f sure to work in his favour. Fellow C&D winners Equiano Springs and Temple Bruer are among those capable of playing a leading role, as is Hiya Maite, whose opening mark of 76 looks workable on the evidence of a narrow defeat at Nottingham last time.
Prediction : 1st Abu Malek 2nd Hiya Maite 3rd Equiano Springs

EXPOSED recorded an encouraging third on her debut at Redcar last month. She lost out to more experienced rivals there, so improvement should not be ruled out for her this time around. As well as that, a step up in trip looks set to suit, as she ran on late on debut. Pending Appeal merits consideration if she can transfer her all-weather form onto turf, while Dazzling Gem could improve for the step up in trip.
Prediction : 1st Exposed 2nd Pending Appeal 3rd Dazzling Gem

TAMMANI posted his best run of the year when scoring over this distance at Redcar on good to firm ground earlier this month. He stayed on to win by two and three-quarter lengths, so a 7lb rise looks fair for that. Ryan Sexton takes off an additional 5lb, which could make all the difference in this contest. Seven Brothers drops back to this class following two disappointing runs in better handicaps so must be feared, while Pure Dreamer looks to seal a fourth consecutive win.
Prediction : 1st Tammani 2nd Seven Brothers 3rd Pure Dreamer

Not beaten far at Yarmouth last time out, TOOMEVARA just about sets the standard in this contest as he tackles fast ground for the first time, which he is bred to handle. Willem Twee arrives with a similar profile having been narrowly denied at Newcastle, though the drop in trip may not be ideal for him as he was slowly away on debut. Gabriella's Spirit has had numerous opportunities to break her maiden tag but still warrants respect at this level.
Prediction : 1st Toomevara 2nd Willem Twee 3rd Gabriellas Spirit

RAYDOUN came with a sweeping late run to win readily over C&D last time and a 4lb rise for that success may well underestimate Roger Fell's charge. Two lengths behind him in third on that occasion was the capable filly Noteable, who is 4lb better off here and therefore entitled to get much closer. Redcar second Roshambo and Dandy Dinmont are likely to be thereabouts as well.
Prediction : 1st Raydoun 2nd Noteable 3rd Dandy Dinmont
