Monday's GYTO Value Tip is a 9/2 shot at Musselburgh.
This is fiercely competitive but I have no doubt RORY has more to offer yet and given he is proven over this C&D I think a big run beckons again. He impressed winning at Hamilton last month and has held his form well in defeat since. He was only beaten 2 lengths over track and trip behind Only Spoofing and The Thin Blue Line at the start of the month off this mark and then ran well again beaten just a length at Ayr last time. He finished well on that occasion and if he can get a better start he might take a bit of beating. There is potentially a lot of pace on here with Birkenhead and Gowanbuster going forward. I think Val De Travers could be the danger as he had won 2 of his last 3 before blowing out at Windsor last time. He is by no means straightforward but when he does apply himself he is capable of decent figures. Sixcor also has to be respected but he had everything go his way last time and is up another 4lb here.
