16:10 Brighton

I get the feeling Benoit De La Sayette is being a little overbet at the moment. Don’t get me wrong he is great value for his 5lb claim but take this race at Brighton for example there is no way there should be that much difference in the market between King Of War and the selection DAYS LIKE THIS. The latter won impressively at Chepstow last time and with further improvement on the cards now moving into handicaps I can see her serving it up to the favourite King Of War. She travelled strongly into the race last time and was doing it with a bit to spare at the line. King Of War took a while to open his account and while he likely has more to offer he doesn’t deserve to be so short. It’s not just a two-horse race either with Sun Emperor lining up too. He went close over C&D last time and was clear from the rest so also has to enter calculations.
