The Kevin Ryan trained CATCH THE PADDY (best priced at EVENS) has finished 2nd on both of his starts and he should hold strong claims of getting off the mark at the third attempt. The son of No Nay Never finished 2nd behind Queen Olly on his debut at York and that rival has since boosted that form by finishing a close 4th in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Catch The Paddy was sent off favourite for a maiden at Leicester last month but he found Show Respect too good by 3 ¾ lengths. That rival ran well to finish midfield in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot so the form of both of those runs looks strong and I expect Catch The Paddy to get off the mark in this race.

The Jonny Portman trained TOYBOX (best priced at 7/2) won over this course and distance last time and she should hold strong claims off a 5lb higher mark. The six-year-old was previously rated as high as 75 earlier in her career but had dropped down to a mark of 50 when victorious last time.

Toybox won well under Tyler Saunders a month ago by two lengths with the reopposing On The Nose back in 2nd. That rival gets a swing in the weights here but it was a convincing performance and I feel she can defy this 5lb higher mark.
