CONFEDERATION has been gelded following a promising third at Windsor and he could put his experience to good use against some of these lightly-raced rivals. His last outing over this C&D saw him finish three-quarters of a length behind Land Of Summer, who has since contested a Group 3 at Ascot and is now rated 83. Another to note is Beau Roc, who could prove to be interesting if she can transfer her all-weather form to turf, while Furnicoe is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Confederation 2nd Beau Roc 3rd Furnicoe

A step up in trip seemed to suit De Vegas Kid on his most recent outing, given he was able to score over this C&D following a good second over 7f prior to that outing. A 2lb rise seems fair, but improvement should not be ruled out for KRATOS, who now sports first-time blinkers. Roger Varian's charge lost second in the closing stages on his latest run over 1m, but Cameron Noble's 3lb claim should aid his cause here. The lightly-raced Brynteg also merits consideration.
Prediction : 1st Kratos 2nd De Vegas Kid 3rd Brynteg

SILVER BUBBLE ended a long losing run when scoring over this C&D on her return to turf earlier this month. She won by a length and a quarter and has only gone up 2lb for that win, whereas fellow course winner Toybox has gone up 5lb for his latest victory last month. The booking of Saffie Osborne seems a positive for the selection and it seems the reopposing On The Nose will have to find more.
Prediction : 1st Silver Bubble 2nd Toybox 3rd On The Nose

Well suited by the step up to middle distances, SHUT UP AND DANCE showed improved form when winning at Chepstow and Windsor last week and, with the potential of more to come, Jamie Osborne's filly can prove too strong for her rivals. Mrembo performed creditably when runner-up at Bath on her latest start and looks next best, while Sandy Paradise, who didn't get the clearest run at Leicester last time, is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Shut Up And Dance 2nd Mrembo 3rd Sandy Paradise

In first-time cheekpieces, Dukedom produced another solid effort when runner-up in a maiden at Chelmsford last time and, with the headgear retained, the well-bred gelding holds solid claims. However, he may have his work cut out trying to match POSITIVE IMPACT, who was only narrowly denied by a useful prospect in a novice event at Thirsk two weeks ago. Lady Spiritus, the only remaining runner, has enormous amount to find in order to make an impact.
Prediction : 1st Positive Impact 2nd Dukedom 3rd Lady Spiritus

KING OF WAR got off the mark at Chepstow last Monday and the manner of that victory suggested he would have no issue in backing that up under a penalty, especially with the booking of Benoit De La Sayette. Days Like This is open to improvement on her handicap debut following her win at Chepstow earlier in the month and she is likely to enter calculations along with Sun Emperor, who was runner-up over C&D a fortnight ago.
Prediction : 1st King Of War 2nd Days Like This 3rd Sun Emperor

SPANISH MANE has improved with each start in 2022 and arrives having won here over a mile earlier this month. The daughter of Havana Gold was raised 3lb for that success and gets the vote, despite the drop back a furlong in trip. Sly Madam has won twice here in recent months and it would be no surprise if she bounced back from her latest display behind the selection, while Soyounique and Eastern Star appear best of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Spanish Mane 2nd Sly Madam 3rd Soyounique
