Thursday's GYTO Value Tip is a 11/2 shot at Yarmouth.
Clipsham Gold hasn’t done a lot wrong running two nice races for her new yard but she has been turned over as favourite the last twice and I do think she might be a tad vulnerable again here. I prefer the chances of LELABAD at a bigger price. He has been a work in progress but went mightily close to opening his account at this C&D when beaten a nose last month. The front pair pulled 3 lengths clear and that form has substance with the fifth Commandment and even seventh Ideal Guest both winning next time out. He was beaten again at Doncaster next time but just wasn’t suited by how that panned out and only actually went down a length and a half at the line. He remains open to further improvement and is only 3lb higher here. There is a lot of pace on from the likes of Kraka, Silver Kitten, Must Be Royale and Epic Express and things could fall into his lap. Clipsham Gold is still the likely danger along with Clement Danes who acquitted herself well in defeat when third to King Of War at Chepstow. She needs to improve but should have more to come.
