MOSS TUCKER was beaten by Chocquinto over C&D last month but can turn around that form with a big pull at the weights in his favour. He was beaten half a length in second on that occasion when trying to concede 19lb and is now a stone better off. Shane Foley's mount, who won at Fairyhouse next time and was a creditable fifth in a premier handicap on Sunday at the Curragh, will enjoy the anticipated soft ground. Chocquinto took a big hike in the ratings for finishing third in a Listed contest at Cork last time and comes here in form but easy ground won't be ideal for her. Quarantine Dreams, who has run well several times in stakes company and is best-in on ratings, gives the selection's trainer Ken Condon a strong hand while Shelly Banks will have conditions in her favour and her rider's claim means she has every chance at the weights.
Prediction : 1st Moss Tucker 2nd Chocquinto 3rd Shelly Banks

THE ANTARCTIC beat Wodao by half a length over C&D in April with Treasure Trove held back in third and can confirm form with those rivals. The Dark Angel colt, who coped well with soft ground on that debut run, again had Wodao's measure when scoring at Naas before having a few limitations exposed in the Norfolk Stakes earlier this month. He can resume winning ways back down in grade. Wodao, an easy winner of a maiden at Navan on his penultimate start, was also found out at Royal Ascot when beaten five lengths in the Windsor Castle but he should be very competitive back on home soil even though he's had a busy schedule already this term. Treasure Trove ran creditably in a couple of stakes races after her debut third here and won her maiden very easily at Down Royal last time. Easy ground may not be ideal but she still merits respect coming from a yard which is enjoying a fine season.
Prediction : 1st The Antarctic 2nd Wodao 3rd Treasure Trove

A winner on testing ground over C&D in April, MESSA CONCERTATA has run well on her last couple of handicap starts and will be suited by dropping back to the minimum distance. 7f was a bit far for her when she was fourth at Gowran and she again made a bold bid from the front when reeled in over an extended 5f at Sligo last week. She can go one better from the same mark. Second to the selection in that C&D maiden, Tiny Bit bounced back from a few indifferent efforts when winning well on easy ground at Down Royal and has her chance again under a red-hot apprentice. Inventor is another to have won here on easy ground in the past and he comes into this off the back of a win at Sligo while Tai Sing Yeh has won three of his last six races and starts off for a new yard having been claimed after finishing second at Limerick.
Prediction : 1st Messa Concertata 2nd Tiny Bit 3rd Inventor

PIVOTAL TRIGGER, who's from a stamina-laden family on the dam-side, has a couple of lengths to make up on La Dolce Vita on Gowran Park form but may improve enough to turn the tables. Unfancied when fifth on that occasion, Jessica Harrington's charge stuck to his task quite well in the closing stages and may well be ridden more forward with that first run under his belt. La Dolce Vita, runner-up at Gowran having been prominent all the way, had previously run respectably in a Group 3 contest at Naas having been placed at that venue on her first start. She looks a straightforward type of filly and is likely to be thereabouts again. Hans Andersen is out of a 5f Listed winner and cost 450,000 guineas as a yearling. He looks the most interesting of the newcomers while Long Note, a full-brother to a 7f winner at two and from the family of top-class American performer Easy Goer, is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Pivotal Trigger 2nd La Dolce Vita 3rd Hans Andersen

INCHIQUIN STAR has been running well in defeat this term and might get her turn. She was touched off on testing ground at this track on her reappearance and just failed to get up when dropped back to this trip at Listowel last time. In between she was fourth at Killarney in a race that has worked out really well. In total she's gone up 9lb but that may not stop her from making the breakthrough. Lady Arwen had four subsequent winners behind her when getting off the mark at Gowran and may have found 1m1f too far at the same venue last time. Independent Expert had three of these rivals behind her when winning over 7f at the Curragh last month and is another who may have found a longer trip beyond her on her latest outing. Disco Boots will enjoy the ease in the ground and has a top apprentice on board.
Prediction : 1st Inchiquin Star 2nd Lady Arwen 3rd Independent Expert

DANE FETE was never going when well-fancied against older horses at Ballinrobe last week where it looked like he didn't handle the track. He can bounce back against his own age group here. His third in a Killarney handicap won by Silken Ladder has been handsomely advertised with the winner, second, fifth and sixth all going in next time and 7f looked too sharp for Gavin Cromwell's charge when he was again placed behind the Killarney winner at Gowran on his penultimate outing. Flash Of Dawn hasn't been disgraced in maidens and is interesting on his handicap bow. His half-sister won four times on soft ground. Cherub Rock was an encouraging fifth on handicap debut at Leopardstown but is unproven on a soft surface while All In Peder, second of four over hurdles at Aintree recently, may well leave his previous Flat form behind. Deceit was a big-priced winner at Limerick but dropping back a couple of furlongs may count against her.
Prediction : 1st Dane Fete 2nd Flash Of Dawn 3rd All In Peder

EASTERN TORNADO ran well in a few handicaps last season including when second over this trip at Sligo and has a chance based on his latest Flat start at Cork. He came home well over 1m2f to take third behind two subsequent winners and going back up in trip should be a help to him. Beer With The Boys had form on soft ground in Britain and has attracted market support on his first two starts for present connections. He ran very well when second at Ballinrobe last week and has his chance from a 3lb higher mark. Colin Keane won on Matilda With Me over 1m1f at this track in April and the five-year-old was a solid fourth over C&D when last seen. She won't mind getting back onto softer ground. Six-time winner Universal Focus has a couple of runs under his belt this term and is another in the mix under in-form Jake Coen.
Prediction : 1st Eastern Tornado 2nd Beer With The Boys 3rd Matilda With Me

STAY LOCAL began her handicap career in sprints last year and made the frame over 5f at the Curragh. She came home well to be a close third over 1m 1f here in April before finishing runner-up last time at Killarney. Aidan Howard's filly will handle soft ground and she gets the vote in the hope that her stamina holds out over this longer trip. Whatcouldhavebeen didn't have the clearest of runs in the straight when staying on well for fifth at Ballinrobe last week. That was only her second run in handicap company and there should be more to come from her. Rihani, who is fitted with cheekpieces for the first time, and Surac were third and fourth respectively in a handicap over a furlong less at Limerick. Both were coming home well and this longer trip should suit this pair of unexposed three-year-olds.
Prediction : 1st Stay Local 2nd Whatcouldhavebeen 3rd Rihani
