He returned from a break to finish a neck behind Cotai West last mont and this Acclaimation colt looks primed for further improvement back up in trip. Cuban Breeze receives a 5lb higher mark for her latest win and also merits consideration.

Returning to handicap company makes life tougher, but he could be well treated from a mark of 79 and in a wide-open contest, the son of Dandy Man holds marginal preference. Lil Guff (also engaged to run at Newbury on Thursday evening) must saddle top-weight but having proved competitive in the Palace Of Holyroodhouse at Royal Ascot and she holds obvious claims. The remainder are headed by Bond Power, who could show more in first-time cheekpieces.

Having got loose beforehand on her racecourse debut, INANNA displayed a willing attitude over this C&D to get up late on and overturn the odds-on favourite. She'll have to saddle a 7lb penalty for that success but with obvious scope for improvement, it may not stop her from following up. Disputed ought to remain competitive having finished third on each of her two starts, while Heavenly Breath must be considered for a yard that are perfectly capable with their juveniles.
