Swayze sets a good standard on his effort at Royal Ascot, but the vote instead goes to the unexposed GANNON GLORY making his handicap debut. Declan Carroll's stable continues in excellent shape and this son of Cotai Glory has done well on both starts this season, including a win under these conditions at Pontefract in April. The hat-trick-seeking Sir Henry Cotton is likely to have a say along with Meredif as well.
Prediction : 1st Gannon Glory 2nd Swayze 3rd Sir Henry Cotton

Trainer Andrew Balding has had plenty of success already with stayers this season and he could have another rapid improver on his hands in DUTY BOUND. The son of Kingman stands out as the only one in the field to have won over this distance and soft ground could easily turn this into a test. Another that could be up to it is easy Doncaster winner Sea King, while Nathanael Greene must also be considered for in-form connections. Giavellotto, Percy Jones and Valsad are others open to improvement.
Prediction : 1st Duty Bound 2nd Sea King 3rd Nathanael Greene

ESHAADA may not be one to put full trust in after a disappointing return at Newbury in May, but on her day, she is a match for any of these. A Group 1 winner on Champions Day at Ascot last October, the four-year-old remains the top-rated in this high-quality field and can strike for connections that can do little wrong at present. A winner of four of her five starts last season, Free Wind is the entitled to the utmost respect on her return, while the same can be said of Sea La Rosa, who needs to prove herself under these conditions.
Prediction : 1st Eshaada 2nd Free Wind 3rd Sea La Rosa

The progressive GAASSEE was an authoritative winner at the Dante Festival in May, taking his career record to 4-5, while leaving the impression he has more than enough to deal with a 7lb rise in the handicap. A son of Arc hero Sea The Stars, it's unlikely we've seen the best of William Haggas' four-year-old yet and though this is no penalty kick, he can win again. Get Shirty produced a career-best effort when successful in the Copper Horse Stakes at Royal Ascot recently and he demands the utmost respect along with Liverpool Knight, who competes from a low weight following last month's Windsor triumph. Others to consider are Something Enticing, Brentford Hope and Inchicore.
Prediction : 1st Gaassee 2nd Get Shirty 3rd Liverpool Knight

Queen Of Deauville was far from disgraced in the Queen Mary last month and she could be underestimated by an opening handicap mark of 82. However, preference is for ZABBIE, whose three qualifying runs have been full of promise. Richard Hannon's juvenile was unfortunate not to finish closer to the principals at Brighton on her latest outing, having been hampered at a crucial stage, but she can make amends this afternoon. Recent Redcar scorer Glorious Angel can make her presence felt, along with Sunny Orange, who represents the powerful Juddmonte operation.
Prediction : 1st Zabbie 2nd Queen Of Deauville 3rd Glorious Angel

Having not been disgraced in a Group 1 at Newmarket and a Group 3 at Ascot recently, TACARIB BAY should not be underestimated on his return to handicap company. He was only a length and a quarter behind New Science in a Listed handicap in April and, given he retains the mark from that run, has to be respected in this. Young Fire kept on well in a competitive York handicap last month and can be feared ahead of Fools Rush In, who also merits consideration.
Prediction : 1st Tacarib Bay 2nd Young Fire 3rd Fools Rush In

Spirit Of Nguru makes his handicap debut on his return from a break, and it would be foolish to dismiss him given the nature of his latest win at Kempton last December. However, his sole outing on turf was disappointing and it's uncertain how he will perform on his return to grass, so DOUX ESPRIT gets the vote as a result. Roger Varian's charge recorded a good third at Leicester over 1m last month, only losing out to more experienced rivals, and has every chance of building on that now dropping in trip. Zero Carbon is another to note following a series of progressive runs in maidens this year.
Prediction : 1st Doux Esprit 2nd Spirit Of Nguru 3rd Zero Carbon
