SILMANIYA looks the one to beat here after a couple of solid placed efforts. The Expert Eye filly was third behind the exciting Statuette on her debut at Navan and then bumped into another decent sort in Badb at Cork last time. The latter made Statuette work in Group 2 company at the Curragh last weekend so the form looks strong. Newcomers may prove the main threat to Johnny Murtagh's charge. Ger Lyons saddles Night Of Thunder filly Mauiewowie and she is out of a half-sister to four-time Group 1 winner Ghaiyyath. Vocalised filly Lan Mara represents Jim Bolger and her dam was a decent sort, a dual winning half-sister to the Group 1 placed Glor Na Mara.Prediction : 1st Silmaniya 2nd Mauiewowie 3rd Lan Mara

VICTORIA ROAD stepped forward from his debut run to finish second at the Curragh eight days ago and can open his account now in an average enough looking maiden. The Saxon Warrior colt attempted to make all last time but was mowed down inside the final furlong by a smart looking sort in Slan Abhaile. This could be an easier task now. Keepupwithmyempire shaped with promise when third on his debut here in May and if he steps forward from that he could be a big player now. It was interesting to hear Ger Lyons say that his fillies were better than his colts the other day and money for newcomer Amazing Show would be of note. Her full-brother was Group 2 placed as a juvenile and she holds an entry in the Moyglare Stakes.Prediction : 1st Victoria Road 2nd Keepupwithmyempire 3rd Amazing Show

Stepping back up almost a furlong may help MARKIEVICZ who ran well here over the minimum trip here 10 days ago. The Dandy Man filly was staying on in third then and having won over a stiff six at the Curragh previously this could be a more suitable trip. In contrast Bellick may appreciate dropping in distance having just lost out close home over seven at Down Royal last time. All his five career wins have come over six. Showmolina kept on well after missing the kick over five at Down Royal last time and is another that can be given a chance.Prediction : 1st Markievicz 2nd Bellick 3rd Showmolina

PINBALL WIZARD might be worth a shot here having dropped a nice bit in the weights. The Dark Angel gelding didn't run too badly when fifth at Listowel last month and six is probably a better trip for him, as he won three times at the distance in England. He has been eased a couple of pounds since and is now 17lb lower than when first running for John Nallen. Gallow Hill hasn't been far away in a couple of recent efforts and is interesting despite holding an engagement at Bellewstown on Friday. Teddy Boy was also due to run at Bellewstown last night and his participation will surely depend on how he fared there.Prediction : 1st Pinball Wizard 2nd Gallow Hill 3rd Teddy Boy

Things didn't really work out for DUN NA SEAD in Down Royal and she may be worth another shot here. The Starspangledbanner filly missed the kick last time and was forced to make up ground wide at the road. She was actually staying on again at the death and having dropped 3lb since she could be nicely treated. Belle Fourche hasn't been seen since beating New York City in a Curragh maiden last October. Obviously that form looks good now with the winner landing a Listed race this season. It will be interesting to see how Michael O'Callaghan's charge fares on her handicap debut. Areille ran well when third here 10 days ago, having won at Fairyhouse previously, and is another that has to be on the shortlist.Prediction : 1st Dun Na Sead 2nd Belle Fourche 3rd Areille

It's hard to look beyond AUGUSTE RODIN in this maiden. Sent off 4/6 favourite on debut at the Curragh, the Deep Impact colt met trouble in running before keeping on well for second with four of these rivals behind. Although several of those are also open to improvement on their second starts, it will be a surprise if the Ballydoyle colt is beaten. Shadowed and Dubawi Spectre were separated by just a short head when third and fourth in that Curragh maiden and, in common with the selection, hold entries for the Group 1 National Stakes. Both attracted market support on that occasion and are clearly held in some regard. Yamazaki, a fair fifth to the subsequent Chesham Stakes runner-up at Fairyhouse, looks best of the rest.Prediction : 1st Auguste Rodin 2nd Shadowed 3rd Dubawi Spectre

Four with claims in a tricky little contest but SILKEN LADDER can complete a hat-trick. Joe Murphy's filly was clearly well treated when landing a gamble on handicap debut at Killarney before bolting up when dropped back to this trip at Gowran. She was given a 15lb hike for that success which gives her a chance at these weights if that assessment is correct. Warren Beach is also going for three in a row after making all at Gowran and Listowel. He has improved for the fitting of blinkers and his style of running is handy in these small-field contests. Confident Star beat recent Group 3 winner Aikhal when winning his maiden at Cork last year and should be all the better for his recent reappearance at the Curragh, while Leopardstown maiden winner Corporal Violette has a little bit to find on ratings but is open to improvement.Prediction : 1st Silken Ladder 2nd Warren Beach 3rd Confident Star

HEATHER BEAR sprang a 50/1 surprise on handicap debut at Gowran but was good value for the win and the fourth has won since to boost the form. Andy Slattery's filly travelled better through that contest than the placed horses who reoppose her here and can defy a 6lb hike. Theonewedreamof was off the bridle a long way out at Gowran before finishing off well to grab second. Maybe it was greenness as much as lack of pace that found him out and he has his chance at the revised weights. Rock Of Candy, now blinkered, was a place further back in third at Gowran and has since filled the same spot behind a handicap blot at Down Royal. Butterfly Garden was beaten inches at Ballinrobe by the filly that was fourth to the selection at Gowran and that leaves her with a bit to find. Prediction : 1st Heather Bear 2nd Theonewedreamof 3rd Rock Of Candy
