HURT YOU NEVER looks like the one they all have to beat in this contest. The Dandy Man filly is one from one at this track, produced a career-best performance when scoring at Doncaster last time and gets the plum draw in stall one. Miss Britain won comfortably at this level in May and has performed honourably in two better races since. She now steps back down in class and merits consideration, while Elladora and Singe Anglais are others to note.

Course winner Ey Up It's Maggie faces her easiest task for some time and must enter calculations, as should handicap debutant Monica, who readily won a novice contest over C&D last month. However, William Haggas continues to fire in the winners and his handicap newcomer RAZEYNA could land the spoils here. She has shaped with lots of promise in three starts thus far and dropping in trip isn't too much of a concern given the stiff finish at this venue.

This looks a wide-open event, with all the experienced runners looking capable of winning races and Espionne a particularly interesting newcomer for Karl Burke. Pureness and Gareeb made pleasing debuts at Newmarket last month and both could improve with that experience behind them, but FAHARI has an extra run under her belt and that may prove the difference at the business end of proceedings. Don't be surprised if Unforgetable Move improves on her debut sixth either.

YEEEAAH has shown plenty of promise on his three outings this year, placing on two occasions, and the three-year-old gets the nod to land the spoils in this contest. The son of El Kabeir could relish this step back in trip and rates the one to beat, while Skyefall rates the most immediate danger after a career-best effort at Redcar last time out. The handicapper has continued to give Monhammer a chance and he completes the shortlist.

Persist gave a good account to finish a respectable seventh in the Sandringham Stakes at Royal Ascot and the daughter of Frankel demands the utmost respect off an unchanged mark. She does, however, face a tough task on her first outing against the boys and MILLION THANKS gets the tentative vote stepping up in trip. The progressive colt has been edging in the right direction and may be able to land a second career victory. Aswan is another to consider in these calmer waters.

The five-year-old can land the spoils as he's 3lb well in on official figures, while Strangerontheshore rates the most immediate danger after a determined victory at Leicester. Little Jo hit the line with plenty of conviction last time out and he completes the shortlist.
