Viva Voce may prefer some cut in the ground, but he wasn't beaten far over C&D off 1lb higher last time and could be well treated under 7lb claimer Gianluca Sanna.

She has a lot less on her plate than when contesting the Sandringham at Royal Ascot last time.

Imperial Khan was a fair third at Hamilton on Saturday and has a chance if none the worse for that outing.

John Ryan's six-year-old won this race off 7lb higher in 2020 and is 2-3 at this venue, so could be primed for a bold bid on his return to Ayr having already won at Yarmouth (off 3lb lower) this summer.
